Liberal traveled to Stockton on Tuesday, March 24. The Lady Bulldogs put a run on the board first in the second inning. The Bulldogs were able to get on base, but weren't able to get everyone home in the succeeding innings. The game remained tight until Stockton pulled ahead 5-4. Liberal got on base in the seventh inning, but was unable to score and the game ended with Stockton in the lead by one. Liberal Softball vs. Stockton

The Liberal Bulldogs traveled to Carthage recently to participate in the SWMO Spring Tournament. The team played well, but dropped the first game to Lamar 0-1. Next up was Pierce City and the Bulldogs took down the Eagles 3-2. On Saturday, Liberal led off against Sarcoxie and beat them 5-4. Their last game of the tournament was against the Exeter Tigers. The Lamar Tigers competed in the Lamar Tiger Baseball Classic, held Friday and Saturday, March 20 and 21, at the Lamar City Park. Friday’s game showed Lamar topping Butler 11-1 and Saturday the Tigers thumped Jasper by a score of 16-0. They were set to play again on Monday night, 6 p.m., against Diamond.
