On Friday night, Jan. 30, Liberal traveled to Jasper for a WEMO Conference matchup. Both teams came out to fight to the end. It was back and forth several times and the regulation time ran out with both teams in a dead heat - 42 all. The four-minute overtime sent both teams up and down the floor in heated battles, with Liberal being able to score five more points than Jasper. Ending score, Liberal 50, Jasper 45. Liberal is now 3-0 in conference play. Liberal Bulldogs are 3-0 in conference play

The Liberal boys kept their heads in the game and pulled off a third place win in the Tony Dubray Classic in Liberal on Friday night, January 23. The team is finally getting to play with most of the team intact. Many nights injuries and illness have kept one or two members of the team off the bench.     The Lamar eighth grade Lady Tigers basketball team earned back-to-back Big 8 Conference Champs 2025-2026. They also won second place in the Wild West Tournament.
